The shift pattern for this position is rotational day night duty 11.5 hour shifts

Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital have exciting opportunities available to join our Nursing team our Endocrine and Diabetes specialty ward areas.

Ward 5b QEUH support a variety of endocrine patients. Specialists in diabetic support, they provide technical care and support for this patient group supported by a CNS team. As a Staff Nurse in ward 5b you will have access to education and training including VRIII and DKA pathways, new diagnosis of diabetes, and blood sugar control strategies. Career pathways for our previous Staff Nurses have included Diabetic Nurse Specialists, Advanced Diabetic Nurse Specialists, ANP, and team leadership and management roles including SCN. Our Nursing teams are supported by a specialty Clinical Nurse Educator and we also benefit from support from a Practice Development Nurse who supports wellbeing and mental health.
