
Spectator Services Officer – 3 month contract – Glasgow – £150/day
Our client are currently recruiting for a Spectator Services Officer on a 3 month contract, to be based onsite in Glasgow. This is to support the 2023 UCI Cycling Championships.
You will:
Support the Spectator Services & Look Manager in defining the scope and requirements for the Spectator Services Functional Areas
Work closely with a number of other Functional Areas including: Event Operations, Safety, Security & Medical and Volunteering to develop and deliver the venue specific Spectator Services plan
Support the production and publication of venue specific spectator guides, maps, and wayfinding, coordinating the development and sharing of key information
Support the development of venue specific accessibility plan and accompanying policies
Develop and maintain key processes and event documentation that supports project planning and event delivery including; Daily Run Sheets
Work closely with the Volunteer team in the scheduling of volunteers
Responsible for coordinating, developing and delivering Spectator Services role and venue specific training material, with the support of Spectator Services Cluster Managers
During event delivery, manage the day to day communication with Spectator Services volunteers supporting with FAQ’s, shift change requests and providing general support.
Any other relevant duties as directed by the Spectator Services & Look Manager
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent administrative skills with proven experience
Ability to manage and deliver high quality work across multiple work areas
Experience of processing financial activity
Ability to communicate across agencies, government and hierarchies at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use software packages such as Microsoft Word, Project, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.
