Anderson Knight is working with a prestigious client based in Glasgow to recruit a Senior Treasury Analyst. This is a challenging role which provides the rare opportunity to gain financial, operational and analytical experience and the chance to add considerable and quantifiable value to the business.
As the Treasury function provides a vital service to the organisation, the position will play a pivotal role in building strong stakeholder relationships ensuring excellent communication and engagement across the business. Working in a very fast-paced, operational environment you will interact with all parts of the organisation, gaining a broad insight and understanding into the financial operations of the business.
The main responsibilities the position entails are:
- Oversee the management of the daily cash position process for the company to ensure they are fully funded and can meet all payment obligations
- Manage the cashflow forecast to support the effective management of group cash positions
- Support the management of a large portfolio of letters of credit/insurance guarantees
- Manage daily FX cash requirements, ensuring any currency to be bought/sold is traded accurately
- Manage the collation and preparation of reports that support business units and management delivering oversight
- Understanding stakeholder requirements to deliver excellent customer service while building strong relationships
To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
- Previous experience working in a treasury department or banking
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, and influence, across all levels of the business
- Excellent numeracy, report writing and attention to detail skills
