
Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a highly successful organisation based in Glasgow City Centre, to recruit a Senior Payroll Analyst on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will support The Payroll Team in managing the pay and benefits administration process in the UK and EMEA. You will be a subject matter expert in UK Payroll, and preferably EMEA Payroll, with significant experience of managing end to end payrolls.

The main duties:
Support The Head of Payroll and Benefits in providing a high-quality payroll service
Assist with managing the day-to-day payroll and benefits administration process with some supervision to ensure timely and accurate payments
Proactively keep up to date with payroll legislation and compliance by interpreting new legislation effectively and explaining to junior team members where applicable
Effectively communicate with third-party payroll and benefit providers to ensure that payments, reports and returns are being delivered to HMRC and other respective stakeholders accurately and on time
Responsible for payroll and benefits being administered and authorised in line with payroll process control policies to ensure compliance
Proactively make recommendations for improvement
Maintain employee data on HR and leave/absence management systems,
Administration of a range of employee benefits ensuring accurate payroll deductions are gathered with regular and prompt reporting to third party providers
Assisting with the processing and submitting statutory reporting requirements eg P45, P60, P11Ds
Calculation of statutory payroll payments, statutory documents and other manual calculations as required
Assist with the training of new and existing employees with some supervision
Skills And Experience
Extensive experience of processing UK payroll and benefits is essential
Experience of payroll and benefit implementations/projects
Demonstrable experience of mentoring junior members of a team
Experience of managing EMEA payroll and benefits would be an advantage
Strong numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong IT skills and intermediate knowledge of Excel
Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
