FPS are currently recruiting a Senior Estimator for our Fit-Out client in Glasgow. This is a permanent position with great company benefits including a 4-day work week!
The Job
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out take offs and submitting tenders
- Evaluating offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements
- Obtaining bids by specifying materials, identifying qualified subcontractors and negotiating price
- Studying costs, identifying and projecting costs for each project, updating specifications and various other tasks
The Candidate
The successful candidate will come from a Fit-Out background – internal and external refurbishment Estimating experience.
You must also have strong communication skills and have the capability to self-manage workload and establish strong relationships. You must be proficient in all basic Microsoft packages.
