Compass Associates are currently seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager for a large elderly nursing home in Glasgow. This service requires a home manager, who is a registered nurse and who has previously successfully managed an elderly nursing home. I am working with a well-established care provider who needs someone with experience, and knowledge of outstanding quality care to uphold the reputation of this luxury private care home.
General duties will include but are not limited to:
Holding managerial responsibility and showing leadership to the care, housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and administrative functions of the service.
Leading a strong team of staff to ensure the home runs smoothly and maintains high standards in line with Care Inspectorate ratings.
Demonstrate empathy and support amongst the staff and residents and their families.
To regularly review the quality of care as well as the homes performance as a business.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate needs a strong background in medium to large elderly care homes that provide nursing.
Needs great communication and interpersonal skills, but most importantly have a passion for high quality care.
NMC registered as well as experience in delivering against KPI’s
Location:
The role is based in Bearsden Glasgow and is commutable from Rutherglen, Clydebank, Cumbernauld, Killearn, Bridge of Weir, Paisley, Hamilton, Kilmarnock.
Interview Process (2-stages)
First stage: Teams call with Regional Manager and HR Director
Second stage: 15 minute presentation with Regional Manager and HR Director
