Job Title: Recruitment Consultant
Reporting to: Commercial Manager
Location: Glasgow (Office Based)
Salary: £27,000 plus commission, plus bonus – £35,000 – £45,000 OTE
Length of Service Annual Increment:
1 Year Service – £28,500 basic salary plus commission
2 Year’s Service – £30,000 basic salary plus commission
*Monday – Friday Week 1 = 08:00-16:00 Week 2 = 12:00-20:00*
*MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE*
To provide an effective professional service that meets the needs of our clients and candidates.
*MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
_Recruitment_
* To assist in all aspects of the permanent booking recruitment process throughout the company as required;
* To maintain regular contact with clients and candidates, aimed at ensuring the satisfaction of all parties as to placements made by the company;
* To develop a good understanding of the organisational structure and work culture of the clients/health systems we serve;
* To maintain accurate records relating to candidates booked including the completion of required fields and contact logs within the company’s recruitment software;
_General_
* To carry out work instructions in line with all key processes and quality management systems.
* To project a professional image of the company in all aspects of your work including personal presentation of a clean and tidy manner.
* To adhere to all company policies, processes, procedures, systems and all relevant codes of practice to which the company subscribes.
*PERSON SPECIFICATION*
_Essential_:
* An understanding of outstanding customer service
* A process driven approach to challenges.
* Sales experience or working in a target driven environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Strong interpersonal skills –ability to relate to and understand the needs of clients and candidates at all levels
* Demonstrable project and time management skills
* Competent in the use of MS office Packages – a basic working knowledge of Word, Excel and Email;
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
_Desirable_:
* Knowledge of the Nursing recruitment market, recruitment process or the healthcare system in the UK
* Knowledge of the Nursing Market i.e. HCA, Nurses and specialisms.
* Creative thinking with regards to the creation of advertisements.
*Recruitment Process*:
A reserve list of prospective candidates may be maintained for any similar vacancies that arise within six months of filling the current vacancy.
