Aqua-Tech Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading Engineering company who specialise in the water industry. Due to various recent project wins, they are looking to grow their teams and are currently looking for a Project Manager, based from their office in Stepps Glasgow.

As a Project Manager you will be part of their Clean Water Major Projects Team. Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of clean water projects.

As a Project Manager your duties & responsibilities will include:

* Running a portfolio of projects

* Work closely with the Commercial Team to understand project LBE/target

* Carry out cost/monthly forecasting and expenditure through project life cycle

* Project management of the principal subcontracts

* Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions

* Ensure design is progressed to support programme requirements

* Ensure resources are identified, sourced & available for delivery of the projects

* Meet investment targets

* Ensure defects are identified, recorded and closed off timeously

* Lead incident investigations in conjunction with SHEQ

* Set productivity stretch targets with delivery management teams

* Maximise programme opportunities to reduce time on site

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

* Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in construction management or engineering

* Water industry experience preferred

* Proven track record in managing construction teams and front line managers

* Proven track record in delivering efficiency savings

* Proven stakeholder and customer management skills

* Appreciation of health and safety legislation

This is a permanent role with a salary of £50,000 – £62,500 depending on experience
