It's designed to free up the MD and to provide oversight of the paraplanning and compliance teams. They've completed on four acquisitions and will soon complete three more. That means more advisers, more support staff and more clients.It means integration – physical, emotional and cultural. It means growth. And it means change.Which is where you come in. You'll have three main tasks.* Oversee the integration of new clients/advisers. That means being a project manager extraordinaire.* Develop the exiting team. You'll be a dab hand at training and development. Even though the existing team is well qualified (Chartered is the norm) you're a big believer in marginal gains.* Recruitment. That means having an input re strategy, the hiring process, onboarding and ongoing training.Variety is the name of the game here, and you'll get plenty of it.Salary is dependent on a range of factors. The firm doesn't want to set a tight range because different people offer different things. But it's likely to be c£60,000 – £70,000. There's also a discretionary bonus and benefits package.WHAT THEY NEED FROM YOUYou'll have plenty of financial planning experience with a paraplanning/compliance background. You'll be managing both, so understanding what they do is obviously helpful. Being familiar with IO would be beneficial but not essential.It's the same with qualifications. It's a Chartered IFA business and you'll be managing Chartered staff. But knowledge/experience/personality is much more important.Experience of acquisitions would also be very useful.This is a company going places.
