The Post/The Candidate:
This permanent post is within the NSS HR team for an experienced Organisational Development and Learning Advisor who will be responsible for delivering a range of L&D services, currently the priorities are implementing an Early Careers strategy to support workforce planning, organisation wide training needs analysis and skills gap assessment. The post holder will also be required to support other programmes in the NSS workforce plans.

All members of the team are currently using Microsoft Teams for communication, collaboration and delivery of events. The post holder will require strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrable expertise in learning and development, digital learning including delivering events in Microsoft Teams or equivalent, combined with a supportive and collaborative style. The person must have the necessary credibility to secure the confidence of colleagues in NSS and within the wider teams in the business, to effectively deliver a professional service which adds value to NSS, and, supports the delivery of a Modern and Graduate Apprentice strategy, skills gap assessment and understanding of workforce planning. Experience of supporting and creating Modern Apprentice frameworks is important for this role, as is an educational understanding.

Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Meridian Court, Glasgow.

However, it should be noted that NSS is currently in the process of relocating from Meridian Court to nearby Delta House, 50 West Nile Street Glasgow G1 2NP.

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
