Job Description
We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to work on civil engineering projects throughout Scotland.
Working closely as part of the site team, duties will include:
· Conducting site visits to advise on environmental compliance
· Working with and supporting multiple site teams
· Being a key point of contact for site teams, clients, and stakeholders
· Ability to manage own workload and site visit schedule
· Input to and production of environmental documents for sites
The successful candidate will possess the following:
· Experience of working on a wide range of infrastructure projects (e.g. wind farms, grid stabilisation/reinforcement, marine works, road construction)
· A pragmatic solution-focused approach to providing advice on a construction site
· The ability to independently make sound environmental decisions
· Experience of working on multiple concurrent sites
· A good working knowledge of environmental legislation
· Experience in dealing with ecological, hydrological, and waste management issues
· Environmental-based degree
· CSCS card and SMSTS are preferred
· Member of a professional body
