The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) – comprising the SEC Centre, SEC Armadillo and The OVO Hydro – is Scotland’s premier venue for live entertainment, conferences and exhibitions, enjoying an enviable reputation as one of Europe’s most prestigious event destinations.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Compliance Manager to join our technical team, in line with our vision of becoming the Best Event Campus in Europe.
Our technical team work closely together in a busy environment, ensuring that all expectations are exceeded by providing the highest quality service to each event. The Electrical Compliance Manager will lead the team of Event Electricians in the delivery of electrical services across all event sectors.
Key duties will include:
To lead the Event Electrical Team in the efficient and safe delivery of event electrical services, ensuring electrical compliance at all times.
To drive and inspire the Event Electrical Team in the fulfilment of their day-to-day duties.
To ensure all event electrical assets are properly maintained and in safe working order, by implementing a planned preventative maintenance and compliance programme.
To plan and organise the SEC electrical team and contractors to ensure that the business is properly staffed for all events.
To efficiently plan and manage the event electrical budget, seeking accuracy and opportunity in cost management.
To plan and execute a strategic pathway for departmental development.
