Desktop Support Analyst Banking Glasgow
6 Month Fixed Term contract opportunity
As the 2nd line Desktop Support analyst will be part of the workplace experience team whose primary function is to provide and maintain continuity of services for all end user devices as well as provision new starter employees with corporate supplied software and hardware. A key focus of the role is the ongoing reliability, performance and adoption of the workplace experience services.
Skills and experience required:
Circa Two years' experience of working onsite providing Desktop Support
Experience of troubleshooting issues on Microsoft Windows and Office
Installation of Windows Operating Systems and Applications
Microsoft 365
Ability to resolve desk phone and mobile iPhone issues
Knowledge of Active Directory & Exchange
Video Conference knowledge
Key responsibilities:
Respond to incidents and service requests and manage through to a successful resolution
Managing, owning, and resolving incidents, requests or problems within the desktop support team queue.
Provide 2nd line support for systems and services supported by the Workplace Experience team
Deliver desk-side support services (PC, Laptop, mobile phone, printers)
Deliver hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops across the site
Provide standard and approved hardware and software support and maintenance on laptops and desktops devices
Support, manage and maintain the configuration and installation of laptops and desktops
Active Directory Security Group management
Maintain and manager office printers
Provide VIP support for desk side issues
Provide support to FoH video conference and meeting rooms setups
