Tier 2 Contractor seeks Design Manager to join their business to deliver complex D&B projects in Scotland.
Your new company
Our client are an award winning contractor who are consistently awarded for delivering high quality Design and Build contracts across the leisure, commercial and education sectors. As their business grows in Scotland they are seeking to appoint a Design Manager to further strengthen their market proposition in this space.
Your new role
As Design Manager you will be responsible for ensuring buildable designs are presented to the operational team through effective management of the design process and the development of positive relationships with stakeholders such as architects , engineering firms and the client. You will be involved in all stages of your projects from design to handover.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client are open on candidate background. If you are practically focused Project Architect who has aspired to join a contractor and progress your career towards design management this could be the role for you. Our client are also open to appointing an experienced design manager who is already operating in this sector and is seeking perhaps to work for a company where they can have real strategic input and benefit from a flat management structure and progressive work environment.
