Job Title: Developer Analyst – PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Location: Glasgow

Role Purpose: MANAGE AND DEVELOP SOFTWARE & REPORTING SOLUTIONS TO SUPPORT AND ADVANCE CBRE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CLIENT SERVICES.

Working within the UK PM Business Transformation team, you will be joining a team with a diverse set of technical, operational, and business management skills and a wealth of experience within the Property Management sector. The team maintains a reputation for excellence and consistent delivery within CBRE and in the wider industry.

The Developer Analyst will provide development expertise in data solutions and analytics for our client reporting programme, working with both external client and internal stakeholders within our Property Management, Accounting and Facilities Management operations.

The role will be required to conduct requirement analysis, planning, creating technical specifications, development and testing under a comprehensive product development cycle.

Key Responsibilities

¾Working with multiple data sources using SQL Server Management Studio, T-SQL incorporating Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions.

¾End-to-end (E2E) development of interactive visualizations and Tableau dashboards.

¾Data cleansing and harmonisation to ensure optimum performance of dashboards and user experience.

¾Build reporting solutions using visual studio and SSRS.

¾Provide 1st level support for reporting applications (Tableau, SSRS), and ensure that data management solutions for in-house or client service purposes are monitored.

¾Understand and manage system integration tools (SSIS, Alteryx) used to provide data and process solutions across UK Asset Services, and ability to understand supporting SQL database schemas and run T-SQL scripts when required.

¾Develop relationship with D&T and third-party suppliers, liaising on system development and issue resolution.

¾Ensure quality assurance and audit controls are adhered to, working with Audit Assurance and D&T teams to ensure appropriate network and application access for Property Management and third parties.

¾Responsible for supporting system upgrades, new functionality implementation and integrity testing on reports and software solutions.

Person Specification/Requirements

¾Experience in an end user environment

¾Understanding and expertise in Tableau software.

¾Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people of all levels of seniority

¾Experience with reporting, workflow, and accounting software an advantage.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Requires technical knowledge, training and understanding of the job’s requirements. Typically possesses 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience.
