Meraki Talent’s client is currently seeking a Data Protection Specialist to join on a permanent basis. They have continued to grow their staffing levels in Glasgow and as part of this process are looking to make this important hire within their Operational Control and Conduct Risk
In this role you will be responsible for reducing data privacy risks and driving adherence to Data Privacy, Data Management and Group Records Management Policies across a key business area on a global basis.
Key outcomes will include:
- Work with stakeholder to embed Data Privacy Controls
- Devise and implement appropriate records and information governance controls and risk mitigation actions
- Develop, manage and maintain data standards and policies
- Support the development and embedding of the assurance framework
- Manage the monthly Data Privacy Governance meeting
- Assist in developing training and educational materials
- Provide support and expertise to the business on data privacy risks
For this role my client is seeking an individual who has an understanding of GDPR regulation and other Data Privacy Laws. Experience in records/information management is required as is a solid understanding of how personal and corporate data is managed in line with Data Privacy Laws and Regulations.
This role is based Glasgow and the firm operate hybrid working.
