Denholm is delighted to be Supporting our Energy Partner to assist in hiring for the position of Cyber Security Manager. This is a new role to the business and will be responsible for shaping cyber security risk for the business. This role is a hybrid with a presence in their Glasgow Office. This role is suited to someone from a technical (infrastructure / network), vulnerability management background with good knowledge of the cyber security space and tooling in this area. Knowledge of risk modelling and control assurance are desired. You will be responsible for providing security expertise to the Digital Asset and Application roadmaps, evaluating current and target positions. Delivering large technical projects, you'll manage a talented team, supporting and providing leadership, as well as responsibility for an extremely sizeable budget. The successful candidate will have good understanding of multiple full tech stacks, enabling effective impact assessment and effective dialogue across the development team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to –
- Develop and create business cases to secure CAPEX investment for strategic projects
- Perform benchmarking, keeping up to date with new technology and carry out proof of concepts to deliver security enhancements
- Develop and define security standards
- Oversee all audit activities
- Report on key risk indicators
- Forecast future operating costs
You'll have proven experience and knowledge of –
- Security Risk Management, overseeing development, recommendation, and delivery of remediation plans
- CISSP, CISM and ISO27001
- Assessing technical designs across the business
- Cyclical control assurance testing and planning
- Implementation of specialist security controls
- Cyber security best practice and an understanding of vulnerability and risk management
- Estimating and managing budgets
