The shift pattern for this position is long days (Monday- Saturday)
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Individual as Charge nurse, to join the Renal dialysis team within Stobhill Regular Dialysis Unit. This is a full time positions with the hours to be worked as long days, Monday – Saturday.
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to evidence leadership experience within a team and possess a desire to contribute to the development of the service. You will be expected to deputise for the Senior Charge Nurse in their absence and lead the nursing team and coordinate and direct the care within the dialysis unit. As Charge Nurse you will provide clinical leadership for the assessment of patient’s needs, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care which are evidence based. A high degree of clinical expertise will be evident with the ability to work to high quality clinical standards.
You are required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be educated to graduate level, with evidence of ongoing professional development, possess excellent communication and sound decision making skills. Experience within the renal service is essential as is the ability to carry out haemodialysis. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC.
