Job Description
Gaucho have an exciting opportunity at our Glasgow restaurant for an experienced and passionate Business Development Manager. This is a great opportunity for a Sales Manager who has already has some experience within a sales, marketing or events role in hospitality and is looking to grow within a sales position. The primary function is to manage group events and sales for the restaurant. The Sales Manager will be an ambassador for the brand to ensure Gaucho is represented accurately (product and restaurant knowledge) and in keeping with excellent service standards, proactively bringing business in.

Key responsibilities of Business Development Manager role:
- Handling enquiries and bookings
- Adding revenue and revenue streams
- Identifying new opportunities including cover driving partnerships and events
- Managing the local area discount scheme
- Creating, managing relationships with PAs and concierges
- Working to support the operation on the floor and in terms of guest relations
- Sitting above the reception team
Experience Needed
- At least 2 year within an events, marketing or sales role, ideally within hospitality
- Written and verbal English essential
- Good use of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Open table or Collins preferred
